The northern elf kingdom is located in the most north region of the Astelynian continent. Eltrana is under the control of a singular king, most recent on the throne is King Orrin Iandrius son of the late King Ciarán Iandrius I. Eltrana is considered to be one of the most beautiful kingdoms in the continent that ranges over four million square miles with ecosystems that range from heated deserts to frigid glacial landscapes. Though most of the population lives in the southern and central regions of the kingdom, there are several cities and hamlets that have made the harsh north their home. Eltrana has a unique history unlike any other Elven kingdoms. Although slavery had been outlawed in other parts of the continent, Eltrana was the last kingdom to prohibit the practice, this has left deep resentment between Eltranian humans and elves. Therefore, Eltrana has what some may consider two capitals. While Ebonwarf, home of the Ebony Keep, is considered the official capital of the kingdom there is a second unofficial capital that was erected by the freed humans over a thousand years ago known as Winderburrow which has become the main hub for all human trade and other human related activities.
